Well, I'm sure everyone has seen the news by now, or at least heard what has been happening. The UK has 'foiled' a terrorist plot to blow up aircrafts coming from the UK to the US using liquid explosives. So, our terror threat for flights coming from the UK is in Red, and all domestic flights are in Orange.

Charles works for Virgin Atlantic Airlines in Miami International Airport. He's the verification agent supervisor. They have only one flight. However, that flight goes to London. ^^;; So, everyone in his company is on edge. Understandably. All hand luggage is to be checked and no liquids or gels are allowed onboard. Why people take shampoo and toiletries on board with them anyway... I dont know.. /shrug
Since the flights are EXTREMELY delayed, Charles won't be getting home until Late. Kinda sucks, but it's better that things get done the way they should.

Luckily, they 'foiled' this plot before it was actually taken into action. They expected the casualties to be greater than 3000 people. "Mass murder", they called it. It would have been horrible =/ They were said to be targetting at LEAST 10 planes heading to NY, Washington DC and California. The airlines targetted were said to be United, American Airlines and Continental. It sucks though, no one knows who is behind it. They suspect Al Qaeda, but they arent positive. They arrested 21 people in the UK. Apparently..they havent interrogated them yet. >.>;; Why? Get answers. =/

Honestly though, to be completely safe, I think they should have cancelled all flights. I know people would have been pissed and what not, but, isnt that really the only way to be completely SURE nothing will happen? Allow no aircrafts to fly? Meh.

Also, no one knows how long all of these security measures will be in place. Charles and I are flying in a little less than a month and security measures are raised for ALL flights. ^^;;; Should be fun if they're still in place when we go to NJ. lol.

Speaking of which, my parents have further invited about 25 other people to Rayna's birthday party on Sunday. lol. . . Now it won't be us and Mike's family, the rest of my family will be there as well. So, I guess it SHOULDNT be so bad. ^^;; ::crosses her fingers:: lol. We'll see. =P

Anyway, maybe I'll update later with more stuff going on. Charles is supposed to call me later and let me know what time he's supposed to be getting out. ::wavies:: Byes~
